Dylan Shaw Excavating Ltd. is an owner operated small business located in Port Hardy on Northern Vancouver Island.

I am a 3rd generation heavy duty equipment operator, and have been running heavy equipment since I was in my teens. My father and his father before him were both equipment operators as well. In 2008 I was fully licensed and certified by the Interior Heavy Equipment Operator School to run excavators, front end loaders, bulldozers and road graders in a hands-on 16 week training course.

That training, combined with more than 20 years of experience to this point, have culminated in a diverse skill set in equipment operation, job planning, and site management based around efficiency and job site safety.

I enjoy providing the best service possible for my clients and rely on repeat business in Port Hardy and the other small communities that surround the area. Upon contacting me, you will receive a one hour consultation at your job site at no charge. My aim is to communicate clearly the scope of work involved in your project and precise costs if possible. Our goal is to provide the most efficient and productive service for our clients. No matter how big or small the project is, we always aim to please and grow our relationships here on the North Island.
